We take a look back at 2015 and review our year in numbers...
During the last 12 months, Point Grey have released 27 new camera models, ranging from 1.3MP to 12MP. However the star of the show has been Sony’s Pregius Global Shutter CMOS sensors. With Point Grey we were first to market with the 1st gen IMX174 Pregius sensor in 2014 and in 2015, we continued this trend with the launch of the IMX249 and the IMX250/IMX252 (2nd gen Pregius).
Pregius technology uses an innovative analogue memory pixel design that enables global shutter and low read noise. The pixel technology has been further enhanced with the 2nd generation sensor with a reduction in pixel size, enabling a smaller sensor. In addition, the read noise has been lowered to compensate for the reduced pixel size, and maintains the same impressive dynamic range as the 1st generation Pregius sensors.
In 2016, we will continue to release many new exciting cameras, with a range of CCD’s and CMOS sensors. In 2015 we have seen a huge amount of interest in the Sony Pregius range of sensors and from Q1 2016, we will launch the latest IMX264 (5MP) and IMX265 (3.2MP) within the Chameon3 USB3 and Blackfly GigE and USB3 family of products.
The new Grasshopper3 models feature the latest Sony Pregius sensor technology.

In 2015, Matrox Imaging issued 23 software updates, with the highlight being the addition of a 3D alignment tool, which gives a 3D pose of the model in the target point cloud and thus provides the means to perform pose rectification for high-accuracy comparative analysis.
Over the last 12 months, we have seen a large increase on the amount of 3D projects we are involved in and we look forward to continuing to help our customers with new 3D projects in 2016.

Neousys launched 10 new embedded computer products. The highlight for 2015 has been the rise of the Intel Baytrail J1900 quad-core processor, which has allowed Neousys to offer highly compact and cost effective products in robust fanless enclosures. With the processing power of lower-end CPU’s increasing, we only see more and more customers integrating these kind of systems into their products.

2015 was a busy year of tradeshows and we exhibited at 6 in total, all covering a range of industries from Microscopy to Broadcast and Packaging to Photonics. Thank you to all who visited us and we look forward to seeing you at more events in 2016.
Finally, 2015 has seen ClearView continue to grow in customers, revenue and staff. Compared with 2014, our core business has grown just over 20% and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for your continued support and look forward to working with you again in 2016.
