The Triton polarisation camera with Sony’s IMX264MZR/MYR polarised CMOS sensors offers the same performance as the IMX250MZR/MYR but at a reduced cost. Similar to the IMX250MZR/MYR, the IMX264MZR/MYR sensors use Sony’s polar-sensing technology with four different directional polarisation filters (0°, 90°, 45° and 135°) on the chip for every four pixels. The IMX264MZR/MYR global shutter CMOS sensor with integrated on-pixel polariser provides better object detection in low contrast or reflective light.
